Responsibilities
Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products
Production planning and following-up the designed projects
Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
Perform engineering calculations to support design work
Be responsible for the high-quality end-to-end mechanical design of innovative products
Update mechanical designs taking into account international shipping and easy assembly requirements
Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs
Design automation system components like sorters, robots etc.
Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
Ensure the project timeline is met and the project stays within budget
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field
5+ years of experience working in engineering
Experience in mechanical design is a must
Preferably have experience in automation projects
Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products
Comprehensive and robust knowledge of production process and manufacturing
Proven success in product development and the entirety of a product lifecycle
Excellent math skills: the ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems
Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation
Exceptional using AutoDesk Inventor Sheet Metal, solid part, analyze, Inventor Studio modules.
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
Must be self-motivated and a great team player
